Mikhail Frunze | Saved By The Fallschrimjager

We've been posted here for a while. I can't even remember what the name of the town is. Somewhere out in Belgium. I've been marking on my helmet my kill streak. I'm up to twenty kills, and I'm still alive. My unit has been doing well to defend this town. We were ambushed by some Soviets with some British as their back up. Flamethrowers lit the night as they ran forward. The Soviets were firing fast. They had to be experts. They must've purposefully sent them here to take out the Schutzstaffel. I don't know why were defending this town, but it must've been important to Hitler to send the 6th in there. Though we're named the 6th, we were actually the first Schutzstaffel Division. We were the most trained and only a select few were introduced. Our Nebelwerfers were positioned on the other side of town so were couldn't get to them. Our Flaks and any anti-armor were there. We were on the weak side. We were fighting for hours. Our men were running low on ammo. The walls of buildings were collapsing and I was suprised the tanks hadn't moved any farther. We could hear a bird in the sky. We couldn't tell if it was one of our's or not. We saw men dropping, they were firing as they did so. The Fallscrimjager were here. Firing their FG42s against the Soviets, they were blasted by rounds. They quickly dug in and began to fire back. In our favor they were armed with Panzershrecks. Heavy anti-tank weapons that were man-portable. This fight might be ending soon. They were firing off and reloading, taking out as many Soviets as possible in between. More British troops were coming in. They seemed to flood our sides and the trenches were already filled with Fallschrimjagers. They were mowing down British with suppressing fire but they just wouldn't give up. I finally thought we may have a break to move some Flaks forward. Just as that hit me, a pineapple grenade went off in front of me and blew me back. I still ran for the Kubelwagen and drove to the Flak. I hooked it up and hauled it back to fight. Once it was set up, I lead the Schutzstaffel to load the Flak and took out the remaining tanks. Our snipers had hit the flamethrowers tanks and set them on fire, also taking out a notable number of infantry. The remaining Brits had surrendered yet the Fallschrimjagers had shot them down. We sat next to the Flak that was radiating heat while we tried to get warm by drinking some good old style coffee. That night it was cold yet we had survived another invasion. I had gotten hit by shrapnel but the cold froze my blood, so I ended up being okay. I was sent to a field hospital anyway to take the remaining shrapnel out. I was back to my men the next day and we were defending the town again.
